Surgery Improvements for Your Convenience
We have completed the refurbishment of our Nurses Treatment Rooms and the Reception Waiting area. We hope you feel these are good improvements to the surgery.
New magazine racks and health information display racks have been installed in the waiting rooms.
We have installed an automatic entrance door, which after a few teething problems, is now fully operational.
We have also installed display screens in the waiting rooms, to provide health information and a visual appointments call display, we hope that you find this helpful.
There is now a self check-in screen at reception, which enables you to check in for your appointment without going to the reception desk. Please try using the check-in screen, we hope you find it is quicker during busy times, but you may of course check in with the receptionist if you prefer.
A hearing loop system has been installed and we hope it will help our patients who have a hearing difficulty. Please let our receptionists know how you find our new hearing loop system.
A water dispenser is now in our waiting room. The dispenser has room temperature water and chilled water, for your convenience. We would be grateful if used cups are placed in the bins provided.
Phlebotomist
If your GP asks you to have a blood test, please book your appointment at the reception desk. Blood test clinics are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Helen is our Phlebotomist.

Please help us to free up our phone lines by using our website. You can use our website for requesting prescriptions, bloods test results, making non urgent enquiries and obtain travel vaccination advice, and cancel appointments. Our Phone lines can be very busy in the mornings as patients are ringing in to make on the day appointments, and request visits. You may find it less frustrating to ring for routine appointments or matters in
the afternoon,
Please let us have your comments about the website.
We Would Like to hear Your Opinion!
The Patient Participation Group is a few patients from this practice, who work with us with the aim of improving the surgery.
We meet for a couple of hours in the evening every two months with the practice manager and one of the doctors to bring the patient perspective to the way the surgery is run. If you are interested in joining phone John on 01494 527004.
